COURSE OUTLINE
Prerequisites:
Clearance of a Felony Affidavit. Health Care Provider which is taught in day 1.
Course Length
– 6 -10 hour days
Class Size:
The maximum number of students that may be trained and tested per instructor shall be ten (10) in the classroom session.

Course Objective

To provide students with the necessary skills and knowledge to assist them with emergency medical techniques should an unfortunate event occur.

Students will be given the knowledge and taught these skills in a classroom and practical setting.

Students shall demonstrate these necessary skills during practical examination and demonstrate knowledge during written examination.

Requires a minimum score of 70% or greater, unless otherwise specified by the student’s employer.

Grades shall be calculated by dividing the number of questions answered correctly by the total number of exam questions and quizzes.

Note: The content and times of the course listed in this outline may vary due to class size and experience of participants.
Each student will be required to pass a written exam as well as a practical exam. The practical tests will involve hands – on demonstration of all skills learned. If the instructor feels that a student has not completed the practical part of the training to his satisfaction they will not be allowed to pass.
